The HoAI Secretariat has made available on the HoAI website two studies on how to improve the resolution of Non-Tariff Barriers (NTBs) in the Horn of Africa, and on inter-institutional arrangements needed to optimize the implementation of trade facilitation projects having a regional dimension launched under the HoAI.
The two studies have been prepared by collecting input and feedback from all the Development Partners supporting the HoAI, and were validated by delegations of all the HoAI member countries during two workshops held in Nairobi and Addis Ababa in November 2023.
They will constitute the basis for advancing the HoAI trade facilitation agenda and for guiding the future discussions on trade of HoAI Ministers and Development partners.
