Mogadishu, Somalia- HoAI – The national consultation on social cohesion workshop kicked off today at the Palms Business Hotel in Mogadishu. The event was officially opened by National Coordinator Liban Obsiye.
The social cohesion workshop was attended by Key stakeholders from the Ministries of Finance, Interior, Family, Youth, Trade, and Customs, as well as private sector representatives from Women in Business and other civil society organizations who gathered to discuss critical issues and collaborative strategies to strengthen social cohesion in Somalia.
The vibrant discussions and insightful exchanges underscored the commitment to building a unified and resilient nation. Key issues discussed included social cohesion in good neighborhoods, empowering youth and women in business, and joint youth and women initiatives to benefit borderland people.
