16th Ministerial Meeting
On April 12, 2023, the 16th Ministerial meeting of the Horn of Africa Initiative was held in Washington DC. The meeting brought together ministers and representatives from the Horn of Africa region to discuss the development challenges and opportunities in the borderlands of the Horn of Africa. The meeting also aimed to prepare for the next Ministerial meeting which will take place on the margins of the 2023 African Development Bank’s Annual Meetings. The meeting provided a platform for constructive dialogue and collaboration towards the advancement of the Horn of Africa Initiative.
The 16th HoAI Ministerial Roundtable was held in Washington, USA, on April 12, 2023, in the margins of the World Bank & IMF Spring Meetings and chaired by H.E. Mr Ahmed Shide, HoAI Chair and Minister for Finance, Ethiopia. Enclosed, please find the agenda as well as relevant papers and presentations. The Communique shall be available shortly.
