The 25th Ministerial Meeting of the Horn of Africa Initiative (HoAI) successfully concluded today at the African Development Bank (AfDB) headquarters in Nairobi. The meeting was chaired by Somalia’s Finance Minister, Hon. Bihi Egeh, and convened finance ministers from the region along with key development partners.
The discussions focused on advancing the digital facilitation agenda — a cornerstone for driving regional integration, economic growth, job creation, and improved connectivity across the Horn of Africa. The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to harness digital transformation as a catalyst for sustainable development.
